The housing market is always the determiner of how fast a home sells, and for how much. No real estate agent can promise an exact timeline for when and how much your home will sell. But we can always promise that our goals and objectives are the same as yours. Getting the best results only happens when clients make the best choices along the way, which this guide should help you do.
Once we begin this home selling journey together, there are some basic beginning steps that will need to take place. Starting with the Comparative Market Analysis (CMA), this helps us determine a likely range that you should sell your home for. There are many factors that we look into deciding what is the best price to set. These many different factors are listed out in the Seller’s Guide.
The most important part of this beginning process is understanding the Multiple Listing System (MLS). This is where we will expose your home to the entire market. The MLS is a database of almost every home on the market and it is what other agents use to find appropriate homes to show their buyers. It used to be a system, that only real estate agents had access to, but now, buyers even have access to see the houses listed for sale on it. This is where serious buyers will be watching intently for their perfect home, and I will make sure your home is on there and presented in the best way possible!
When your home is listed on the MLS, it will give you a lot of exposure but we still have to create a marketing plan. The Seller’s Guide gives you an in-depth breakdown of how I will market your home just beyond the MLS.
